Prebiotics has been around and many humans have used it to help their digestive system. For the past years, Prebiotics has gain popularity as an added ingredient in dog food. Research shows that dogs can also benefit from Prebiotics.
What are Prebiotics?
Prebiotics are complex sugar and also known as non-digestible food ingredients. It stimulates the growth and function of friendly bacteria in your dog’s digestive tract.

Typically, Prebiotics are added in small quantities during dry mix of kibble production. These are the common Prebiotics you can find in dog food: 1) FOS (fructooligosaccharides) 2) Chicory Root (Inulin) 3) GOS (galactooligosaccharides)or 4) TOS (trans galactooligosaccharides)

we were just reading about probiotics for dogs with allergies they were saying it can help with itchies too
Our Angel Sam had a very delicate digestive system and we were adding probiotics as a supplement. For our healthy pups we add prebiotics. How awesome that there is a a food for it now – it is always tough to find a tasty supplement.
