I learned about pawTree at BlogPaws 2014 Conference. It was a cool idea especially when pawTree provides customized dog food; great for dogs who suffers allergies. pawTree health supplements were also intriguing. Many fellow bloggers tried pawTree products and joined their program. I didn’t, as I was hesitant to change Sugar’s dog food. Sugar suffers from allergies and year 2013 had gone through some health changes. I did not want to disrupt any of Sugar’s health progress and decided to continue using products that her body was accustomed to. A few months ago, the idea of being a pawTree petPro was brought to my attention again. Since pawTree offers other products that I know Sugar would benefit from, I’m considering joining.
As I continue to do my research, I talked to two pawTree petPro representatives, Felissa Elfenbein and Beth Millman.
Felissa, a fellow pet blogger, from Two Little Cavaliers, started with pawTree almost a year ago. She received an email from a PR agency friend asking us to take a look at a new Direct Sales Pet Company. Felissa was also intrigued about pawTree because the CEO, Roger Morgan, has a Cavalier dog. Another reason for Felissa was that Jessica Vogelsang (known as Dr. V) from Pawcurious is on pawTree’s advisory council and leadership team. Her dogs Davinia and Indiana have been eating pawTree dog food since last May. They also love pawTree treats that contain minimal ingredients. Other products that Felissa started to use for Davinia and Indiana are pawTree Salmon Oil, Joint Support, Dental Sticks, Gastro Pro Plus and Superfood. Felissa loves that she can adjust an order or switch one food for another or place something on pause for a month if your budget changes. As a blogger, Felissa has a great avenue for promoting pawTree products. Almost a year later, Felissa is happy with pawTree customized dog food, loves the company, and being a pawTree petPro. You can visit Felissa’s pawTree shop at pawTree Happy Pets.

I met Beth Milliman at the SoCal Pet Expo. Beth is a pawTree senior petPro, she utilized the expo as a way to promote herself and pawTree. Besides being a senior petPro, Beth has a very busy demanding job as National Director of the Television Contracts Department for SAG-AFTRA. I loved Beth’s energy and we had an awesome conversation about pawTree. Beth is passionate in what she knows; how to care for her dog Quincy with pawTree products.
Q. How did you find out about pawTree?
A. I found out about pawTree when doing online research. I was looking for a new dog food to feed my dog Quincy. He was suffering from stomach upset and allergies, and he was seeing a specialist. Once we isolated his food sensitivities, his regular vet wanted me to find a better food for him, and I came across pawTree.
Q. What made you decide to feed pawTree to your dog?
A. The ability to customize the formula. Since Quincy had stomach and food sensitivities, being able to do a pet profile and have the system come up with a customized nutrition plan for Quincy that would be tailored to what he could eat and that would include supplements and treats, was just what we were looking for.
Q. Why did you join pawTree as a petPro?
A. I was a customer first, and when I saw what pawTree did for Quincy – no stomach upset for the first time in years, no allergic reaction, and the fact that he ran to his food to gobble it down as opposed to barely touching it – I was convinced that I needed to share these products with other pet parents who were going through similar challenges in finding the right nutritional plan for their dogs.
Q. What are the benefits of being a petPro?
A. Well, for me, I am doing this business around a successful full-time career running a national department in the entertainment industry. I have always had an entrepreneurial side, but my job is a demanding one, and being able to balance a “traditional” business is challenging.
With pawTree, you can work as much or as little as you want, and the fact that you can work this business around a full-time job is very appealing to me. Plus, you can earn an unlimited income with this business if you are willing to put in the time and effort. I believe people should have multiple streams of income, and I have learned not to be dependent on just my job for my income.
I have also always wanted to have a business around my dog, and to be able to help other pet parents by sharing pawTree’s products is the icing on the cake. Every day I get to share products that Quincy and I love, that actually do what they say they are going to do, and it does not feel like work. It truly is our passion. You can visit Beth’s pawTree shop at pawTree Quincycology.

If you’ve been a follower of our blog, I’ve recommended many products that I use for Sugar, and many of you bought them too. Every dog has different needs, and nowadays many dog parents (like me) are seeking advice and relying on other dog owners who have success using the products. One reason my curiosity was heightened in joining pawTree petPro.
Another fun pawTree program is Pawlooza; a pawfect way to share the love of pawTree products to your fellow dog friends. It’s like having a tupperware, jewelry or candle parties. Now, it’s a fun pawty of dog products. You need to be a pawTree Paw Club member (pawTree consumer and maintain an EZship order) to do a Pawlooza, and you’ll be partnered with a petPro. You will also benefit from the knowledge and training shared by your petPros partner. Also, as a pawClub member you’ll get exclusive discounts and reward points; plus the opportunity to get your dog food free when referring friends.
There are many ways you can earn being a consumer of pawTree or as a petPro. I invite you to check pawTree.com, and you’ll find all the answers on how to be a Paw Club Member and petPro at pawTreeFAQ.
