1. Take Your Dog on a Weekend Adventure
a) We started Sugar’s 14th Barkday celebration a month ago. We took Sugar on our traditional weekend Chicago Canine Cruise adventure.

b) The first week we arrived in SoCal, we took Sugar on a weekend adventure to San Diego.

2. Take Your Dog to her Favorite Adventure Place
SURF Dog Golden RetrieverSugar loves the beach and enjoys swimming. This year, Sugar was adventurous and tried a new water activity – dog surfing.

3. Make a Homemade Dog Treat or Dog Meal
homemade treat dogs birthdaySugar enjoys a special tasty meal for her Barkday. I always make her Turkey Barkday Meatball (recipe on Tuesday post).

4. Take Your Dog Shopping
Sugar visits PetSmartSugar enjoyed visiting and shopping at several PetSmart SoCal locations. Prizes for Sugar’s Barkday is provided by PetSmart

5. Accessorize Your Dog’s Collar
Girls wear bowtie too. LOVE Sugar’s lady bug bowtie? We will be re-opening our shop, Sugar’s Paw House and it will be available soon.
