Does your dog shed? Many breeds of dogs shed their coat. Weather and change of seasons play a big role when it comes to how much your dog can shed. You can’t stop dog shedding, but you can reduce it by keeping your dog healthy and well-groomed. One way to reduce shedding is to use Shed Control Dog Shampoo.
Recently, we bathed Sugar and used Earthbath Shed Control Dog Shampoo. Sugar always enjoys a refreshing bath especially after a Golden Fun beach adventure.

Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Mom says she couldn’t imagine a house that doesn’t have little furries hiding in every corner – yes we shed a lot 🙂
We just brush our dogs and vacuum a lot, ha. 🙂
Never tried this particular one but we do like Earthbath.
that’s a super practical shampoo… but I rather prefer your sand bath technique :o)
We use the furminator but do not use a shedding shampoo.
My dogs do not shed, but I sure would love to try this shampoo.
My dogs mat and I brush both of them.
OH my pug we could really use that shampoo and conditioner, we pugs shed A LOT, A LOT A LOT…………Mom tries to manage it by brushing us regularly and making sure we eat good food but we still shed enough to stuff a new pillow everyday…………….Mom vaccums so much she has just about killed off dear sweet Jim. I am hoping we win cos we would defiantly give that product a run for its money!

I just deal with shedding and don’t worry too much about it. If I cared too much about it, I wouldn’t have dogs and cats…and who wants that?! 😉
We definitely shed. But we don’t like baths. Mom says maybe we should take a look at this stuff anyway.
We have 2 rough collies and yes, they shed! Funny, it’s the first thing people ask us when they meet us. Do they shed? HA! I do a lot of grooming with a slicker brush, an undercoat rake and detangling combs, etc.
I don’t use a shed control shampoo but really have to start using one!
When they go in for a groom every few months, they get a shed control shampoo & conditioner. In between, they get frequent light brushing to remove hair ready to fall out. In heavy shedding season (hard to distinguish with two shelties!) I use a forced air dryer to blow out their coats and do a more intensive brush out.
We try to brush enough to lessen shedding. No special shampoos are used.
i have used that kind in the past, we just brush
We take him to the groomer and we brush and comb his long coat between visits.
i am lucky i guess, mini schnauzers do not really shed. so i do not use shed shampoo. but i would donate it to the pet food bank or give to a friend who has goldens.
My dogs shed and shed a lot I brush them weekly a couple every day-I have 11- I have tried shed control shampoo and never noticed a difference BTW I think the short haired dogs shed more then the long haired ones
I’ve never heard of shed control shampoo before. We just brush her a lot.
Ruby doesn’t shed too bad. She gets baths every now and then. We are looking for a good shampoo for her. We currently don’t use that shampoo.
I been using a shampoo from the vet at $2156.
I try to brush my furbabies regularly, but with four dogs and three cats it’s a full-time job. I haven’t tried a shampoo that helps cut down on shedding, but I’d be interested in trying one.
I have not tried a shed control shampoo, I brush, brush , brush
I vacuum A LOT! I have not tried a shed control shampoo.
I didn’t know about this shampoo….I’d love to try it. All I’ve been doing is brushing my dog and doing a lot of vacuuming.
Great Review
We brush and vacuum often to manage shedding. I also haven’t tried shed control shampoo but it looks like a good option.
I usually try the brush her outside, so that all the hair doesn’t get in the house, or I just end up vacuuming a lot more often. I have never tried a shed control shampoo, but I would love to.
Tonya sheds, so I brush her every day and give her a really good, thorough, long grooming session about once a week. When I bathe her, I use a shampoo and conditioner that helps with shedding.
We brush and feed them fish oil.
My dogs don’t really shed. I don’t use shed control shampoo either
brushing, brushing, brushing!!!! no, I don’t currently use a shed-control shampoo, but I would like the chance to do so.
mine dont shed to bad ,i keep it undercontrol by vaccuming each day and regular baths and brush them daily
Coco only sheds a little so I never used a shed control shampoo on her. You don’t find her hair all over the place, only on your clothes every once in a while.
I don’t use a special shedding shampoo, but I do bathe her regularly to reduce shedding.
We’ve never used a shed control shampoo before, would love to see if it really works!
I didn’t know they had a shampoo for shedding. I usually vacuum my dog Jewels after a wash and blow dry. She seems to enjoy it but it’s not always convenient.
I have a Lab and a Cane Corso. I always thought shedding was a necessity for all haired mammals and was inevitable. However, I brush them to keep the hair from getting all over the place (well, somewhat).
I brush them almost every other day
My dog gets regular haircuts and baths, but I never used a special non-shed shampoo!
My grumpy old man sheds a ton and I never knew there was a shampoo that would control shedding. Thank you
