Is fish oil supplement part of your dog’s diet?
We have used different brands of fish oil over the years, off and on… including human capsules. Right now we have an Alaskan brand of oil in the fridge that I put in the dogs’ food when I remember… must be better about it! Would love to try this one.
Mom’s been giving me Fish Oil along with my eye medication every day. We truly believe that the Fish Oil has helped in giving me a little more time with my sight since being diagnosed with PRA 3 years ago. My sight is fading now but at least I can see a little bit off in a distance. I will continue taking my Fish Oil forever.
We used to use some other fish oil but Stanley stinked.

yes, i use fish oil, omega 3, from the vet, EicosaDerm, you need to make sure it has the correct omega 3 fatty acids, i also give my girls sardines in water on top of their kibble, when i do that i do not use the omega 3 b/c it would be too much for them. i have also used other brands but i was told by several vets that this one had the correct amt of omega 3
One of the reasons I feed my dogs the brand I do is that it contains a large amount of fish oil and other joint supplements.
We all get the same Omega 3 fish oil that Mom and Dad take. We get a capsule once a day in our kibble. We just gobble it up:) Hey, it’s fish-related and we love fish!!!

i give my girls omega 3, it is a good antioxidant and very good for them. they get a daily dose unless i am giving them sardines on top of their kibble b/c it would be too much . otherwise they get omega 3 everyday.

Yes fish oil is added to Coco’s diet. Her doctor prescribed one for her so she has been getting it from him.

yes definitely, but they have been getting sardines in water on top of their kibble lately, b/c i ran out of raw venison, waiting for the deer season, so i dont add any extra at the moment.
