If you are a pet owner, you are noseblind to pet odors in your home. From Atomik Research Survey, 49% of Americans say that they dread visiting homes with pets because of the smell. Yikes! Is your home guest ready?

Pet odors are embarrassing and stinky experience for guests. One reason I am becoming more pet odor conscious. I worry about what my guests could smell when visiting and I want them to come back.
After spending the day out in the sun, Sugar can be smelly, and it can be awkward for our guests to smell it too. Sugar can stink up our small home in so many ways. This is why Sugar and I decided to be part of Febreze™ School Of Petiquette.
Febreze has partnered with etiquette expert Thomas P. Farley (a.k.a Mister Manners and Instagram star @ToastMeetsWorld to host The Febreze School of Petiquette to educate pet owners about the importance of always being guest ready. Do you want to keep your home pet odor free? Get Ready! The Febreze School of Petiquette Class is In Session.

Be Guest Ready with Febreze Petiquette
Febreze School Of Petiquette offers pawsome helpful tips to keep our new small home 24/7 guest ready. We are sharing two petiquette lessons.
Febreze School of Petiquette Lessons: Home Guest Ready
1. Cozy Couch
Sugar has several beds and also enjoy relaxing on our cozy chair. This chair is also a favorite guest chair.
Lesson: Some of us have a hard time keeping pets off the hard-to-wash upholstered furniture… So if your German Shepherd thinks he’s a lap dog and likes to cuddle up next to you, keep Febreze Fabric Refresher handy to instantly remove his dog smell from the couch fabric and pillows. With the odor gone and a light, fresh scent remaining, your couch-sitting guests will have no idea they just have stolen Fido’s secret sleep spot.
2. (Not So) Hidden Smells
As a senior dog, Sugar’s gas moments happen a lot. Guests make her excited so unexpected surprise gas happens. Also, happens a lot when she sleeps on her back.
Lesson: Some of Happy’s favorite treats have a way of … reappearing when you least want them to. While we can teach him not to jump on guests or eat their shoes, it’s impossible to teach him how to leave the room to pass gas. When your guests are on the way and Happy just won’t abandon that bully stick, try Febreze Air Effects for an instant odor removal leaving behind a light, fresh scent.
The Petiquette curriculum was developed for pet owners to always be guest ready and never take the chance of offending their guests with awkward pet odors. To read more Febreze Petiquette Curriculum, download Febreze School Of Petiquette Curriculum
Febreze is safe to use around dogs and cats.
Febreze is a pet owner’s other best friend because it doesn’t mask but truly eliminates pet odors and leaves behind a light, fresh scent.
Febreze School Of Petiquette Products
• Fabric Refresher works great to instantly remove odors from fabrics. Use daily on fabrics that get a lot of high traffic and odors (dog beds, furniture). Start off every day by freshening those fabrics.
• Air Effects instantly takes care of the odors in your air. Use it anywhere and anytime pet odors are lingering or when you need a burst of freshness. Great to use in any room, and especially great to store readily available in rooms like the kitchen and bathroom where odors pop up frequently and you quickly want to eliminate them.
Golden Love this Febreze Car Vent Clips.
It works well when transporting a wet dog from the beach.
• Car Vent Clips continuously freshens your car and eliminate the tough pet odors that tend to hang inside your car. Place onto any air vent in your vehicle, set the intensity dial to begin releasing the level of scent of your choice, and replace every 30 days to constantly freshen and eliminate odors in your car
Noseblindness from pet odors occurs naturally over time. Febreze helps pet owners get guest ready by safely eliminating odors. Is your home guest ready? What do you do to eliminate pet odors?
my crib is ready for guests :o) …the acr… not so much, but we try to chase the odors away with febreze there :o)
WHat are you trying to say Sugar? BOL!
We do have stinky dogs at home (can I say Monkey – my pain in the hind brother from another mother?) and my sister Daisy. I think we could use Febreze to freshen things up around here. Or just get rid of a few pesky pets, er, pests.
Sugar I LOVE your socks! I love Febreze makes the house smell so fresh and clean.
Great post Sugar! We are never without Febreze in our house or car! 🙂
We do like the Febreze Air Effects, Sugar. It makes the house smell clean and fresh! We understand #Petiquette is important.

We are definitely into Febreeze here in Doodleville cousin!
Febreze is great for getting rid of doggie odors. I always wait until Haley’s outside before spraying though because she’s pretty sensitive to sprays when they’re in the air.
Life without Febreze would stink! LOL!
Glad this is working for your family Sugar! We do agree with the whole nose-blind situation- but not so sure any commercial sprays are the answer in our house.
We try our hardest to avoid adding toxins into our environment, so all our ‘air fresheners’ were some of the first things to go….we now have 3 diffusers that use cold water and pure essential oils to keep pet odors down and improve our health and moods while we’re at it! 🙂
There are definitely some smells after we go to the dog park or run in the rain like we did this morning 🙂 Wet dog is not the name of a candle for a reason!!
We always use Febreze
Snorts,
Lily & Edward
I’m enjoying reading everyone’s Febreze post!!! 🙂
Hey Sugar, how are you? Sorry I haven’t visited more often, but mom and I have been very busy. Mom said she loves the #petiquette tips. I didn’t think I smelled the place up, but I guess people notice.

I’m a big Febreze fan now too! My home is now guest ready!
Hi Y’all!
Use lots of Nature’s Miracle here, but use Fabreze too. Have to try those car clips.
By the way, did you humans know that you really, really stink after you’ve been out runnin’ or exercisin’ and get all sweaty? And our noses are lots more sensitive than yours! We like Fabreze too.
Y’all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
