Today, October 7th, marks the end of National Walk Your Dog Week.
Walking your dog is an important part of dog ownership.
Commit to walking your dog every day.
Every Week is Walk Your Dog Week!
For the past weeks, we’ve included running to our daily routine.
I am an ambassador for Cooking Light & Health Magazine :The Fit Foodie event.
Sugar is joining me on the 5K event.
I agree, efurryday we should walk together… we are just back from noon patrol and I’m happy that I we were out and about together :o)
I think it is awesome that Sugar is a part of the 5k as well! Amazing for a senior pup!!
I tried! You saw how that went! 😉
we wish you well with your run – good luck with the training
It’s the thing I look forward to the most every day. There’s just something so peaceful about walking with the goldens. 🙂 Good luck with training!
We love walking! We walk twice a day! Schooner and Skipper love to go in different directions all the time because of all the different smells.
Sugar walking is sooooo good for every single inch of our bodies. My peeps walk at least an hour 5 mornings a week. You and your mom stay in great shape too!
Hugs madi your bfff
Awesome! Enjoy your 5K!
We need to get out walking more!
I am sure that one reason Sugar continues to be such a healthy girl is because of the active life that you’ve given her. It is so important to keep them moving just as it is for us.
My huskies would kick my butt if I missed a walk time with them! LOL!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
But we don’t like to walk. Nutty huh?
Lily & Edward
If only I could convince my pawrents to walk me every single day many times. They don’t walk me every day, though I do get to run and play in my back yard.
WOOF!
So important to get exercise daily for our pups and ourselves!! Cocoa wouldn’t let me NOT go 🙂 Have fun at your 5K.
Walking is something we all look forward too. Today the sun is shining bright, can’t wait to get back out there.
It’s walk your dog week every day at our house too. Like you we just started to add a little bit of jogging to our walk. It happened after Cody, Bailey and I saw a jogging poodle in our neighborhood and decided if a poodle could jog, we could too.
This is such a great time of the year to walk too! Not to hot and not too cold. ????
Sugar, we live in an area with so many dogs who are just left in backyard.s Never go for walks. We wish people would walk their dogs. It’s so sad.
You look so sweet while out for your walk!
We really need to get back out there. Is that a hands free leash?
I can’t even imagine what would happen if our guys had to wait a whole year for one week to be walked. Lol
Fetch, then walk, then treat, then repeat!
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Yep, that sounds like our house! Enjoy the 5K. Sounds like a fun event!
