Sugar has been cooped up indoors for the past weeks. To celebrate Sugar continuing recovery, we took her on a weekend trip. We visited dog friendly Balboa Park, the nation’s largest urban cultural park in San Diego, CA. The park features 15 major museums, performing arts venues, lovely gardens and the San Diego Zoo.
Balboa Park was once known as “City Park.” It was founded in 1868 and named after Spanish explorer Vasco Nunez de Balboa. Balboa Park covers 1,200 acres of lush landscaping and beautiful gardens.
There is so much to see, enjoy and experience in dog friendly Balboa Park. We plan to go back … Balboa Park is a must see/visit attraction in San Diego, CA.
