5 Fun Facts About Dr. Seuss
1. Dr. Seuss’s real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel. He was known as ‘Ted’ to his friends and family.
2. After Dr. Seuss died (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991), What Pet Should I Get? manuscript was found in a box (manuscript created between 1958 and 1962) then published last July 2015.
3. Dr. Seuss married twice and had no children but loved animals and had dogs throughout his life. Dr. Seuss and his dog Cluny, an Irish Setter.
4. Green Eggs and Ham was Dr. Seuss best-selling children’s book. It contained only 50 words and sold more than eight million copies.
5. Dr. Seuss was known for his use of entertaining, silly rhyme words. However, if you read between the lines, you will discover inspiring life messages.

I have a funny story about Green Eggs and Ham.
When my human sis was about 4 she and my peeps took a road trip from NC to DisneyWorld in FL.
Of course mom had all kinds of activities planned in the car but all my sis wanted was for mom to read Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and ham and Hop on Pop…mom read the a gazillion times

I loved Dr. Seuss as a kid, but my mom didn’t so we didn’t own any. I think Hailey isn’t thrilled with him, she ate my The Places you will go book!
I like the TV show about the Grinch stealing Christmas because it deals with transformation of character. Not everyone is as nice as you, Sugar, but everyone can be nicer.
