Last April 10th ASPCA celebrated their 150th anniversary. In honor of this important milestone, ASPCA launched 150 Days of Rescue.
ASPCA 150 Days of Rescue is a nationwide action campaign that seeks to unite the country in making a difference in the lives of homeless and abused animals.
Calling All Animal Lovers
We invite all animal lovers to visit ASPCA.org/150days and pledge their time (for a minimum of 15 minutes) between April 10 and September 7 and help animals in need. ASPCA’s goal is to reach 150,000 actions for animals in 150 days. There are many ways you can help. Also by logging in your time, you can enter your preferred rescue group for a chance to win $150,000 grant from ASPCA.
To encourage others to take action, ASPCA released a compelling video in which pet lovers celebrities speak up for vulnerable animals in funny and moving ways. Some Hollywood celebrities joining APCA 150 Days of Resue are Martha Steward, Kesha, 50 Cent, Edie Falco, Nathan Lane, Julie Bowen, Krysten Ritter, and Jason Schwartzman.
We encourage you to partake ASPCA 150 Days of Rescue. Visit ASPCA.org/150days.

This is a great giveaway, thank you for the chance!
My kids and I love to help donate to our local, I get lots of great dog and cat food deals from couponing so it’s a great feeling to help!
There are so many ways to volunteer or donate… even if it’s just dropping off used towels and sheets that you might otherwise threw out. Volunteering to help walk dogs or clean kennels is always needed.
i am a regular donor to Safe Haven Cat shelter and clinic. i donate to the clinic as well as to the pet food bank. prizes that i win, that i wont use, i donate, i enter contest for cats and i dont have cats so i can donate. i use coupons to get things free or low cost to donate as well. i ususally end up donating abt 500.00 or more a year. i also go to lots of rescue events and support them at the events.
I donate a lot- anything I win in contests, my dogs lesser used items, things on their wishlists…
ResQwalk is a cool way to help shelters/rescues, just learned about it earlier today on this blog! The shelter I help foster for sometimes is on there so I am super excited to help out using the ResQwalk app!
I foster for Mid America Boston Terrier Rescue. I have also volunteered at several local shelters.
I have adopted a lot of animals from my local rescue group.
i donate to the local shelter and always adopt from the shelter too.
I always donate my old sheets and towels to the shelter for bedding for the animals
We attend our shelter’s fundraisers, we also contribute to their rummage sales. We work the Holiday Bazaar too.
When I find a good sale on pet items I always pick up extras to donate to our local shelter. I repost and tell others about available pets for adoption to spread the word and hopefully get the animals into great homes faster. I also adopt!
All the prizes we win from contests are donated to our local animal shelter. To date, it has resulted in over $6,000 worth of goods, food, treats, and monetary donations to our shelter.
A good idea is to donate to a shelter.
We donate food the shelter every week.
Donate food when you can.
We got our Pit from a local rescue.
