It’s been a year and a half since I added canned dog food to Sugar’s diet. I serve it as a topper which helps moisten Sugar’s dry kibble. Sugar loves it especially when I rotate different brands and flavors. I recently shared on a post, Tasty Dog Treats and Dog Food at 2016 Global Pet Expo, that Bravo Pet Foods now makes new canned dog food (and cats too). Sugar is so excited and can’t wait to taste it!
Bravo Pet Foods provided Sugar Canine Cafe to try, and Golden Woofs is helping spread the word about Bravo’s new line of canned dog food. Golden Woofs only shares information we feel is relevant and useful to our readers.

When I look at dog food, I’m not only looking at what ingredients it HAS, but what it doesn’t have. I started feeding my dogs grain-free dog food a couple of years ago and can tell a different with them. I avoid food and treats with wheat and corn, and if it says simply “meat” I avoid it like the plague (when I learned exactly what that can include I really wish ALL brands would stop using it). I look for high-quality protein, like chicken or salmon, and also things like fruits and vegetables that I know are good for my dogs. I typically use mostly dry kibble, but my senior girl, Suki, was showing a lack of interest in her food so I started adding a partial can and some warm water to her kibble and give it time to soften and now she gobbles it down. I would love to give her Bravo canned food to see how she likes it. It sounds great.
I look for wholesome, healthy ingredients like vitamins, minerals and real meat.
We look for all natural ingredients.
Hey Sugie – I’m gonna try the cat Bravo !!! Will send you a picture!

Maynard Jack

Yum! I look to see if the food was made in the US.
I try to buy food without a big long list of ingredients and preservatives.
Sugar is such a doll! When I look at dog food I usually look for foods that have a significant amount named meat sources and that it doesn’t have carrageenan since its an iffy ingredient. I just like to see if the ingredients are readable so I don’t feel like I am reliving Chemistry class trying to read the ingredients.
I always look for foods that I know what they are I don’t feed myself stuff that I don’t know what it is so why would I for my dog.
