Molly Mutt is a company that creates a dog bed duvet, also known as DIY dog bed. What’s unique about Molly Mutt is the up-cycle option. You simply fill the dog bed duvet with old clothes, a blanket or towels and zip it closed. Now you have a dog bed, Your Dog Will Love!
This post is sponsored by Molly Mutt. I am being compensated to share the Molly Mutt dog bed duvets, but Golden Woofs only share information we feel is relevant to our readers.
Since we moved to California, we’ve been traveling. SUGAR’s comfort is very important to us. We bring a lot of stuff even for a weekend trip. Many of the luxury hotels we’ve stayed provided a dog bed, but it’s always small. We always bring two beds, 1 for the car and 1 for the hotel room. On our last trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea, we packed one of SUGAR’s dog beds in her luggage. How cool is that! Here are 8 Reasons to Travel with a Molly Mutt Dog Bed Duvet.
8 Reasons to Travel with a Molly Mutt Dog Bed Duvet
1. Easy to PACK – The Molly Mutt dog bed duvet can be conveniently packed in a suite case.
2. COMFORTING – We always bring many blankets on our trips, some are used by SUGAR . A scent from home is always helpful for SUGAR to quickly adjust to her new environment.
How Does Molly Mutt Dog Bed Duvet Work?
With the 100% nylon, mesh zippered Molly Mutt’s Stuff Sack you can organize the inside of your dog’s duvet. It is gusseted to perfectly fit inside a Molly Mutt dog bed duvet.
1) You simply place your old clothes, towels or blankets inside the Stuff Sack .
2) Let your dog SNIFF SNIFF SNIFF! Zip it!
3) Insert filled Stuff Sack into the duvet.
4.) More Sniff Sniff Sniff from your dog!
5) In no time your dog will Snooze
3. COMFORTABLE – SUGAR is not a big fan of overly stuffed beds. With Molly Mutt dog bed duvet, you can fill as much (or less) stuffing.
4. Made from 100% COTTON canvas – Molly Mutts offers 25+ designs in four sizes: petite, small, medium/large and huge dog bed duvets. SUGAR received the medium/large “i don’t like Mondays” duvet. The thin multi-colored stripes are pawfect to compliment any room.
5. BREATHABLE – The cotton canvas is a breathable fabric; helpful in keeping your dog cool.
6. DURABLE, preshrunk and WASHABLE – We’ve used the Molly Mutt dog bed duvet on two of our travels, and it retained its shape after washing.
7. ECO-Friendly – What a great idea for Molly, co-founder of Molly Mutt, to give your old stuff a new purpose. A great way you can help the environment in making it clean and green.
8. AFFORDABLE – Surprisingly, Molly Mutt’s beautiful designs and versatility is affordable. A 20″ petite dog bed duvet costs $19. SUGAR’s medium/large size duvet 27″ x 36″ x 5″ costs only $39.
Molly Mutt’s duvets are also available in round shape and water resistant outdoor duvets. For more information about Molly Mutt’s products, visit mollymutt.com. Connect socially with Molly Mutt on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.

What a great buy for a great value all for our pet babies. Many pet parents would love to have this dog bed duvet.
These beds look AWESOME! My boys do deserve this bed, but in all reality, they need it. I am soldier and I have to go away for extended periods of time leaving my boys. I am about to leave them for a much longer period than they have ever known and it breaks my heart thinking about it. I think one of these beds stuffed with my clothes would help them to feel more secure while I’m away.
Looks like a an awesome comfy bed
Lily & Edward
Oh MY! That is the BEST thing ever! I am guessing TigerLily and Kootenai need one of those for all their adventures and travels!
Oh SUGAR! We got one for Sadie, for grandma’s house. One time we stuff it with her stuffie toys. Love you SUGAR

Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
My dog would love a new bed! Love that it recycles old clothes too.
my oldest Evie, deserves one b/c she just turned 15 on 9-12-16, she is deaf, almost blind, has a bad back, has a little dementia, and now i found out she may have cancer. she needs to have a large bump removed b/t her toes. i am scared for her to go under anesthesia. so she deserves a new bed.
What a neat idea – fill your own bed!
hugs

My dog would looove a new bed! His current one is looked a little worn…
Wager is finally “safe” around beds… he used to chew them up as a puppy. Would finally like to get something nice, not just focusing on the most durable.
Since we travel so frequently with both dogs, having a bed that can be packed easily and filled with comforting materials would be great!
She deserves is because she’s a great listener, lots of fun and so sweet and forgiving!
My Rosie has had the same old bed for quite a while now. These covers are so pretty. She deserves a pretty new bed cover to sleep on.
My dog deserves it because he is getting old and needs more comfort in his life
We have 4 dogs, 1 of them going through chemo for lymphoma. We travel 3&1/2 hours each way to get him chemo & we sure could use a comphy bed for him to lie on when we go out on the road
My dog deserves a Molly Mutt Dog Bed Duvet because he is a good dog and we want to give him the best care.
I would actually love to win this for my friend. Her household goes through dog beds quickly because when her cat gets jealous he decided to pee in their dogs bed. With this bed it would be a much easier clean up and you wouldn’t have to throw it away!
I’m interested in this for my puppy Remy. He doesn’t have a dog bed yet … just old sheets and towels. 🙂 Love the photos of Sugar!
My boy Beau would love this bed.
Beau is such a good boy he deserves one.
My dog could really use a new bed so she stays off of mine!
My dog Shunta is 13 years old and has been for her mom and dad when they were old before they passed away. Now she is by herself and she deserves the best and a comfortable bed to sleep on.
My dog deserves a dog bed because she currently doesn’t have one! She just uses a blanket on the floor right now but I know she would love a bed
With five dogs, their dog beds wear out pretty quickly…and they deserve comfy beds! Thanks!
My three rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds had rough starts in life. Kyoko was nearly starved before being dumped at a high-kill shelter in Greenville, SC. She’s gained weight and is healthy, but does love a soft bed. Kenji was one of 30+ hounds that were being used/abused by a man in Rutherforton, NC – he was involved in cock fighting and used the dogs as his alarm system (Kenji was just 7 months old when he was taken to a high-kill shelter with the rest of those dogs). Seiji has an unknown past, but would have died the morning I had him pulled for me if I hadn’t adopted him. Seiji had a rough start with us – I believe he may have been abused by whatever hunter had him before he ended up in a kill shelter in Columbus County, NC. It took him time, but he is now a happy, playful, loving boy (although he does still occasionally have minor issues). All three of them should have spent their entire lives in a loving home with good, healthy food, plenty of toys and playmates, and nice, comfortable beds to sleep on. I can’t do anything about the past, but I do try to do my best for them now, and we can always use another great, comfy bed for them.
Would love one for Layla emergency bag as it looks easy to carry and pack there
Coco could use the bed because the one that she has in her crate right now to sleep on the stuffing is not sitting in it right anymore. Its getting worn out. She could use a new one.
My boys would LOVE a molly mutt. They are good boys that listen (most of the time) and try to please us. They are seriously the best dogs on the planet (in my opinion). After a long day of running outside with us, they deserve something soft and cushy for them to lay their heads on.
I have two Boston’s, and they would love a new bed. They have 2 now, but one is falling apart.
Thanks for sharing a great idea.
My Blackie no longer has his own bed so he really needs one. TFS.
My pups would love this for the times I go on trips out of town!
We are selling our house and 99% of our possessions to travel the USA in a trailer. Little Elvis needs a dog bed that is portable and versatile! I hope we win. 🙂
In all honesty, I want to win for my cats. I have 13 elderly rescue cats, and they need soft things to lay on. They won’t know it was just for dogs.
Woofs @mollymutt & @sugarthegoldenr my dog deserves to win a #MollyMutt #dogbed duvet because he’s finally housebroken!
I love the idea of re-purposing old towels, blankets, etc. into a duvet dog bed.
Our dog deserves a Molly Mutt duvet bed because she works all day to take care of my son. She is a hard working service dog, who definitely deserves a cozy place to rest at the end of the day!
My dog deserves a Molly Mutt duvet because her current bed needs to be replaced.
I need this because washing her bed weekly really ages it. it rips pulls and comes out lopsided. If I had this I could just wash the duvet
I have a couple of anxiety ridden rescues. I think it would be very comforting for them to have a bed stuffed with things that carry my scent.
I have a 17 year old dog that has some joint pain and she would love a thick, comfortable bed like this to rest on.
My dog deserves this just because she is so cute and brings us so much joy so it’d be nice to give her some back with a nice new bed! Thanks so much for the chance!
If not for seeing SUGAR’s lovable photos I may never have discovered the Molly Mutt dog bed duvet. What an ingenious idea to have a duvet that can be filled with clothes, towels or whatever. Easy to keep clean, great for travel and so much safer if your dog is a chewer, since you know what is inside. (Haven’t all dog owners come home at one time or another to find a room full of stuffing and a deflated bed with one or more dogs looking at you as if to say, I haven’t a clue Mom, wasn’t me! 😉 I am going to the Molly Mutt Dog Bed Duvet site right now!
This is the best concept ever! Our dog struggles with separation anxiety and has a really tough time when we are away. Stuffing with old clothes that smell like us is genius and would really really help our boy! I LOVE this product!
Max loves his bed and likes to be comfortable
My two would love to have this because they travel so much,
would be like a piece of home.
My Dog Lilah, a rescued pit bull registered therapy dog, is always tired after a long day of therapy visits at our local nursing homes, adult daycare facilities, schools and doggie events. She loves to snuggle up in a cozy bed. I think this bed would be perfect for Lilah since she has some anal gland issues and her bedding needs to be washed very often. Being able to wash all the “stuffing” easily in the washing machine would help her and our house to stay fresh smelling. Plus, I believe having our scent in her bed would make her more relaxed as well.
