Orphan pets should live in forever homes, not die waiting for them …
A moment of silence in honor of the orphan pets who passed before finding their forever homes.
Remember the Rescue on Remember Me Thursday
Shine a light on orphan pets waiting for forever homes.
Remember Me Thursday, a global awareness campaign, was created by Mike Arms, President of the Helen Woodward Animal Center.
On September 22, 2016, Light a Candle and “honor the millions of pets who lost their lives without the benefit of a loving home and shine a light on the millions of healthy pets who are still awaiting adoption.”
My heart is with those pets who have passed without finding their forever home. I hope for a better world where we don’t have to see this happen forever.
Great campaign Sugar. People often forget about those waiting. It is very sad to think of all the dogs that used to belong to someone for many years and then suddenly dropped off at a shelter. Very sad. Thank you for this important message.
I wish every dog could find a forever home. My heart is sadden but Sugar you are doing a great awareness campaign. Thank You Sugar! We have a rescue and he is a sweetheart and a brother.
What a great campaign. It breaks my heart to think about all the lonely pets that really deserve a forever home. Thank you for bringing awareness! 🙂
Here’s wishing that all pets find their forever homes, Sugar!
Great campaign! Hope all pets find forever homes.

We also hope all who are without homes, find their furr-ever homes!
Our hearts break for those that never found their furever homes. 🙁
It’s so heartbreaking to think of the dogs and cats who never found homes and ended their days in a shelter. They aren’t forgotten.
Yes, let us all remember!
We will be participating in #RememberMeThursday ♥
my candle is in the window ( battery operated no worries lol) and I hope tonight a lot of candles will shine for our friends in need :o)
Oh, this just sucked the air right out of me. This morning, I helped a shelter cat to pass over the rainbow bridge, and he lost his life because he lost hope that anyone would ever bring him home. I had no idea today was dedicated to kitties like him.
