Also, this month, Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, ASPCA launched #31DaysOfRescueDogs. The purpose of 31 Days Of Rescue Dogs is to raise funds for homeless pets. Every day, participants are asked to post one photo of their favorite ‘rescue dog.’ Each post will encourage their friends to donate $1 a day in exchange for 31 days of adorable photos.
The featured dogs could be rescues, fosters, or shelter pups in need of homes. Each post on social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) must include the hashtag #31DaysofRescueDogs. Share your favorite photos for a chance to be featured on Animal Planet during the Pit Bulls and Parolees marathon on Oct. 22nd from 7am to 7pm ET., submit your photo here! The top three fundraisers will win prizes from the ASPCA and Animal Planet.
