Do you wipe your dog’s butt?
I always wipe down SUGAR’s paws, and rear areas with dog wipes after a walk.
International Veterinary Sciences provided Sugar a pack of Quick Bath Tushee Wipe. Golden Woofs only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers.
Dog Wipes vs. Other Wipes {Baby Wipes}
It is important to use pet wipes specifically formulated for dogs. Most wipes such as baby wipes contain an ingredient called Propylene Glycol that could harm your dog (especially if your dog is a licker). Make sure to read the ‘wipes label’ before using on your dog.

Do you wipe your dog’s butt with dog wipes?
we replaced the baby wipes with real wipes what are made for dogs… I’m technically a baby, but a dog-baby so we switched to the better stuff now :o)
I use baby wipes for paws…
I have not bought dog wipes for their butt, but what a great idea. I have used baby wipes before though.
I have started wiping my dog’s pee pee and behind because he is mobility impaired and I strive to keep him as clean as possible.
I have a senior Boston Terrier who needs these butt wipes. I do wipe him down every day but have been using just water and paper towels. The Tushee Wipes are definitely a much better choice.
We do wipe on ocassion, Bailey needs it the most, these would be very handy to have on hand
hugs
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
I do occasionally wipe my Golden Rettievers butt, but I use a washcloth and mild soap, or just water, and a towel. These would definitely be an improvement
yes, i think it is necessary when you have dogs that have long hair or hair around their anal area. sometimes the doo doo gets stuck on the fur. i usually use all natural baby wipes. i have never seen dog butt wipes though. interesting.
Sometimes when he has icky belly and needs a little help
I don’t wipe my dog’s tush!
Not usually, but (not to stray too far into TMI land) sometimes it is necessary. Truth be told I have a very overweight cat that needs this kind of help more often. Yes, I love them anyway.
I’ve never wiped my dog’s hiney before.
Actually, I don’t use tushie wipes for my dogs, although there are times I really should. There are times they really, REALLY need something like this.
Yes I wipe my dog’s butt every time she goes to the bathroom. I also wipe her pee pee area too because she is prone to getting UTIs all the time.
Pet wipes are important for the feet too.
We have a puppy so I make my own
I do if there is a problem, but not on a regular basis.
No I don’t because my pekapoo is nicknamed Mr. Bitey for a reason!!! I need to start though, because when his fur starts to grow back there after a grooming he does get poop stuck.
I don’t wipe my dog’s rearend – unless there is an obvious issue
