Popsicle is a water-based frozen treat. It’s a refreshing treat to have during the Summer months. I love making a homemade popsicle that I can share with my dog. To kick off Summer 2017, I made a refreshing Berry Banana Ginger Popsicle.
Angel SUGAR loved all my homemade popsicles. KORU BEAR was unsure of the first popsicle I had him lick. To entice him to lick more, I provided him frozen blueberries and strawberries (what he can expect to have inside the popsicle). Also, I let him drink cold Ginger Banana Tea which is the ‘water based’ of the popsicle recipe.
Berry Banana Ginger Popsicle
Ingredients
fresh blueberries (optional to cut into small pieces)
fresh strawberries (cut into small pieces)
Ginger Banana Tea – Angel SUGAR was a picky drinker, and she loved banana. I often gave her Ginger Banana Tea {recipe} and which also helped her sensitive stomach
*make your own decision on how much berries you wish on your popsicle*
1. Drop blueberries and strawberries into popsicle molds
2. Pour Ginger Banana Tea over the berries to fill the popsicle mold
3. Insert the popsicle mold cover (with a stick) and chill for several hours.
4. For easy release from the molds, allow to sit on the counter at room temperature for few minutes.
Golden DELISH!
Refreshing popsicle treat you can share with your dog, Berry Banana Ginger Popsicle!
The Boys enjoy pupscicles too! I use the disposable bags though, those sticks are cute, but Jax would probably eat them!
