This month, KORU BEAR enjoyed Heart Shaped Dog Waffle Treats. I typically make homemade treats from scratch but for this recipe, I used a dog cake mix from Puppy Cake.
Heart Shaped Dog Waffle Treats
Ingredients:
Box of Dry Ingredients – Puppy Cake Mix Red Velvet
(rice flour, cane sugar, beet powder, baking powder, salt and olive oil)
1 egg
3/4 cup of water
3 tbs of vegetable oil
Instructions:
Combine all the ingredients and mix until well blended. Pour into the waffle mold – I used a silicon heart shaped waffle mold. Bake for 20-24 minutes at 350 degrees.
The Puppy Cake mix made it very easy to prepare these heart shaped dog waffle treats. Instead of using the frosting in the box, I made a raspberry syrup by blending raspberry and honey.
It’s Golden Delish! KORU BEAR loved it!
that is a super idea!!! and with a baking mix not even the mama can fail (I hope so lol)
Aww~ How happy KORU BEAR is! Thank you for sharing! Gonna try this cake mix.
I love the Puppy Cakes mixes too, they are so easy to use! I love the fun waffle mold you have. I want to invest in some new silicone molds.
