Most store bought ice cream is not dog friendly. Also, some dogs are lactose intolerant and should never have ice cream. However, dogs can eat ice cream. Dog Approved DOG Ice Cream is easy to make at home using one main ingredient; frozen bananas.
Banana Peanut Butter Dog Ice Cream
The secret for a creamy DOG Ice Cream is to use brown spotted bananas. Before freezing, cut the bananas into small pieces. Freeze the bananas for 2-3 hours or overnight. Then, place the frozen bananas in a blender. When it’s creamy add the peanut butter. The consistency is like a gelato. Golden Delish!
For a firmer ice cream, you can store in the freezer for an hour and serve in a bowl with fresh bananas.

Wow! I was never aware that I was able to make such a sweet, delicious treat for my dog. I recently discovered that dogs are also able to eat apples; I never knew of all available fruits to feed my dog!
Yum! I shouldn’t eat dairy ice cream either…this will be a cool substitute during these hot summer months.
BTW–Sugar is beautiful!
