Joyful Lavender Baths


I have to take a bath after I swim in the ocean.
It’s not a choice, I must take a bath due to the salt water and sand.
I love my home baths and I’ve shared 3 of them with you using 3 different soap/shampoo products. I have sensitive skin so my mom is very conscious and picky on what product/ingredients to use to wash me. Also, being in tropical weather, it is important to use products that help repel flea/other insects and provide skin therapy from my dryness.

Remember when we went to the Ali’i Lavender Farm,
well I waited for mom as she took photos and toured the grounds.
She got me a gift, Lavender Aromatherapy Pet Shampoo.
For the past 6 weeks, I’ve been bathing with the aroma of Lavender.
LOVE it! I wish you can smell me …
Ali’i Lavender Aromatherapy Pet Shampoo is in a shatter-proof bottle with snap-top cap.
The shampoo is in a clear thick liquid form. WOW! with just a small amount it creates lots of bubbles and it sure smell soooo good.
It contains organic ingredients. The key ingredients are cedarwood oil, organic geranium, organic comfrey, and citronella, tea tree, and of course Lavender essential oils.
The Lavender is from Ali’i Lavender Farm.
The shampoo lathers extremely good that produces a silky rinse.
Mmmmm SMELL soooooo GOOD! but its not overwhelming.
It’s very calming making my Lavender bath as joyful as my swim in the ocean.
PAWsome! I smell so good.
I got lots of compliments.
On my beach days, when I get wet I smell like Lavender.
My coat is so soft and shiny too.

After A Bath Comes …


I’ve talked about my baths many times.
It’s a process which I really don’t mind since I get to go to the beach.

I enjoy jumping into the water and swim.
There are times when there’s a big wave and lots of water goes into my ears.
I have to do lots of shake shake shake … to get rid of the water.


So after each bath my ears gets cleaned too.
There are two safe tools you can use to clean a dog’s ear, a cotton ball or a swab.
Mom uses swabs to clean my ears.
Recently, I was given a sample of the new Q-tips with Precision Tips.


The Precision Q-tips has a pointed tip but not sharp.
It can get into awkward groves in my ear but it does not hurt me.

Take Note: My mom never uses the swabs to clean the inner parts of my ear canal.
An ear solution is used after cleaning the outer area of my ear.

Bar Soap or Liquid Shampoo


I know most of you do not like to take a bath.
For me a bath after a swim in the ocean is a must.
It is also necessary and important to have a refreshing bath.

A month ago I was fortunate to have an opportunity to review a Neem soap bar by Organix South. Click Here to read it.  I had 4 baths and there’s still some left for 1 more bath. It is our first time to use a soap bar and LOVE it. What we like the most is that with water applied on my fur the bar soap quickly lathers.


Organix South also sent me a 2 oz sample of their Neem Therape liquid shampoo.
Just had to give it a try.


I had to dampen my fur with water before applying the liquid shampoo.
It does not lather as much as the soap bar. I also used all the 2 oz liquid shampoo.
As always my eyes were avoided.
A neck and head massage sure feels good.

My favorite part …


It seems that using the liquid shampoo I needed additional rinsing.
It’s okay, I LOVE the rinsing portion of my bath,


Pawsome Bath. Refreshing …

Bath Time: TheraNeem Organix South Pet Soap Review


Beach Day is also Bath Time which I enjoy both.
I mentioned many times that I got allergies and have sensitive skin.
My mom is very picky with the food I eat and products I use for my skin.
There are only few good products that work and we recommend.

Last August 2011 we shared information and reviewed a product with Neem Oil.
We are very happy with that product and continued to use it.

Neem is a tree that is native to India and Southeast Asian countries.
It is also known as “Village Pharmacy” because of its many uses.
Different parts of a Neem tree are used to provide comfort and wellness for people and pets.
The most common one are Neem Oil, Neem Leaf and Neem Bark.

Neem is a safe natural ingredient with great benefits.

Recently, we were so happy to be asked to try a dog product that contains Neem,

Excited as this is our first time to use a soap bar.
Typically, a liquid shampoo is used during my bath time.

It smells sooooo good.
I have not started my bath yet but the scent sure was very soothing.

A quick rinse was needed to start my bath time.
Then, the FUN begins …
No need to scrub the soap bar on my skin it quickly lathered on my fur.
The soap bar did not break down and it smells soooo good.
My eyes were avoided during this process.

My favorite part of bath time … rinsing.
Keep in mind having a good amount and pressure of water is very important.
The soap rinses well, no residue on my fur.
What a refreshing bath! I Smell GOOD!

The after photo was taken upon finishing my bath with a quick towel dry.
My fur was still wet and needed to be brushed/comb.
No skin irritation from the soap bar. My fur was so soft.

Bath Time


Just like getting brushed I do enjoy being bathe.
At home “indoor” bath time is extra delightfully FUN.
I do get a kick out of the detachable shower head.
It is so different from using the outdoor hose. The shower head gives out just the right water pressure and temperature.
I do like my current shampoo.
It keeps me smelling good and makes my coat shinny.
However, we continue to look for better doggy shampoo
that are natural and free from chemicals.
