Barking For "Tasty Tuesday" Treat Giveaway

We often get invitations for tasty treats to try.

Since we carry our own tasty treat at Sugar’s Paw House

and due to my allergies, we’ve rejected many of these offers.

Yes, believe it … imagine rejecting “tasty treats”…

Well last month, we were invited to try tasty treats from

Loving Pets called Barksters.

Woof! Woof! we accepted it because

Barksters are wheat-free, just like my treats.

Golden Hooray!

We received two very attractive boxes of Barksters treats from Loving Pets, 1 beef and 1 chicken. The treat packaging is color coded, purple for the beef and orange for the chicken. Also, what we like the most about the packaging is very informative. All you need to know about the product/treat is stated on the box.

Barksters treats uses simple and all natural ingredients. Each of these ingredients’ benefits are listed and explained on the back of the box.

TASTY! Delish!!!

Barksters treats are air-puffed which makes it low in fat.

Each treat is only 12 calories.

Mmmm, what does it mean? I can have more …

The calorie count is very beneficial for pet owners who are controlling their pet’s weight and intake of daily treats.
For this photo shoot, I had 3 Barksters Chicken = 36 calories.

Barksters treats are delicate, crunchy and have ridges on each treat. Mom says its like human chips, so warning to all dog owners to be careful and not mistake them for regular human chips.

Lastly, what we also like about Barksters treats is
it supports U.S. farmers and 100% produced in the USA.

Well, I DO … I currently have a space on my home wall and decor.

Woof! Woof! that’s me … a gigantic Canvas Photo of myself.

I was very fortunate that Easy Canvas Prints provided me this Photo Canvas of myself. Golden Thanks Easy Canvas Prints. LOVE it!

I’m sure just like us you have many photos.

One way to display your photo is to print it on a canvas.

Guarding Your Pet’s Buzz

The weather has been odd everywhere.

It has been cold rainy Spring in most areas.

More Rain Means More Bugs.

I got bit by a bug when I was young and it was not fun. Just like last year, check out my photo below and click here to read my blog post.

There are many precautions that dog owners can take.

My mom always try to find the natural way to protect both of us.

Our friend from Earth Heart sent us a sample of Buzz Guard to test.

Buzz Guard was created by a master herbalist and certified aromatherapist. Buzz Guard is an all natural remedy mist for pets to repel mosquitoes, flies, fleas, and ticks. Last Sunday when I attended AWL Rescue PETNIK event,

I put Buzz Guard to the test.

We arrived to the venue event around 8 am.

It was located in a Forest Preserve.

It was early and the bugs where still waking up.

Sure enough as soon as I got out of the car BUZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz everywhere. Mom sprayed some Buzz Guard on her hands and gently spread it onto my body (everywhere – including my inner/outer ears, back of head, paws …). My mom also sprayed Buzz Guard directly to my cotton collar and harness. Mom’s bug repellant was not working well so she ends up using Buzz Guard by spraying on her clothing.
The Buzz Guard has a light fresh scent which did not bother me and quickly dissipated. The great thing was it did not leave any oily residue on my fur. Since PETNIK was a whole day event, we had to reapply it
(Buzz Guard only last up to 5 hours).

I had another opportunity to test Buzz Guard during my morning walk at my favorite park – where there’s a Prairie and a man-made lake. Oh! Yah there were BUZZzzzzing everywhere but I had a Golden Delight walk as they kept their distance.

Petfinder 15th Birthday + Rescue Tags Giveaway

We’ve been busy making pet designs for our new line of Sugar’s Paw House Pet Tags. My mom created some rescue pet tags (can be use for pet and/or personal tags). As the chief officer of quality control, my primary duty is to inspect each finished product and ensure no deficiencies. I can only place my Golden Paw Approval (GPA) on quality finish products.
