Do you have a cat? How fancy is your cat?
According to Adam Ellis, an illustrator at Buzzfeed and author of Tiny Hats on Cats, “Every Cat Deserves to Feel Fancy.”
Adam Ellis adopted tripod cat Maxwell from the shelter. Maxwell captured Adam’s attention with his big Disney eyes. Maxwell is a tripod cat, but he gets around. According to Adam, he is spoiled and incredibly lazy. One reason, Maxwell can patiently pose with all the paper hats that Adam created.
Tiny Hats on Cats started on Instagram. Adam found some old left over construction paper and decided to make a fancy funny top hat. He snapped a photo of Maxwell and posted on Instagram. It was a hit! Adam continued to make more themed top hats … more than a hundred paper hats until they got very popular on Instagram.
Tiny Hats on Cats book is a collection of cute tiny paper hats he created plus how-to guides. Love it!!! No elaborate tools needed as illustrated on the book.
Each step-by-step instructions are very easy to follow and accompanied by photos. There are 36 tiny hats you can create for your cat – one for every occasion. Adam also featured other cats to model his tiny paper hats. One of them is Peppercorn, Maxwell sister. Peppercorn is also a shelter cat. Her adoption fee was waived because she wouldn’t stop biting people who tried to pet her. Luckily, Peppercorn doesn’t bite anymore … just enjoying posing for tiny hats.
So many adorable cat photos with their tiny hats. Oh! I plan to make some of these cute fancy tiny hats … of course for Sugar.
