We are very fortunate that there’s a country farm nearby, known for their Pumpkin Patch
I am Golden Happy to visit but …
I stayed in the car. Mom left the sunroof open so I can see part of the farm.
KAPU is a Hawaiian word that means forbidden and/or stay out.
We visited Kula Country Farms, a 4th generation family farm.
It is located on the slopes of Haleakala in Kula Maui, Hawaii.
KULA means ‘open meadows’ in Hawaiian.
Best produced are grown in Kula due to its cool climate and rich soil.
Kula Country Farm is famous for their Fall PUMPKIN patch.
It is a popular attraction for local families and visitors of the island.
Lots of pumpkins and you get to pick your own.
Amazing view. On a clear sunny day, you will see a bi-coastal view of Maui, HI.
As always, mom enjoyed taking photos of flowers particularly the Sunflowers.
It was a lovely place to visit and makes us remember Fall season.
If you plan to visit Maui, HI during Fall season (late September – October) make sure to take some time to visit Kula Country Farms. They have a produce stand where you can purchase other fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers. They also have a food trailer truck on site.
