Golden Day At The Vineyard For Golden Dogs


Last weekend, we went on a mini road trip to Central Il. We attended Golden Days at Wine Oak Vineyard benefiting As Good As Gold Golden Retriever Rescue.

I just could’nt resist to not partake in

We’re supposed to find a dog of the opposite sex on Petfinder that looks like ME.

I’ve search Petfinder and found Ralph, who is about 10 years old. I am sadden to read that Ralph was dumped at a shelter with his eyes matted shut with infection, his skin nothing more than sores and scabs. 
Happy Ralph’s tail continues to wag and very lucky to be rescued and recovered from being mistreated. Check out Ralph’s Golden Smile … Just Like My Golden Smile. Also, Beaming with Lots of Golden LOVE.

Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. is very dear to my bloggie friends Bumpass Hounds. Bumpass Hounds are big advocate of AHGRR as their 3 Goldens came from AHGRR.

As Good As Gold: Golden Retriever Rescue


I took a break from playing in the snow this weekend and my family decided to visit a pet store. In the store, I had an opportunity to met Morty and Minnie and their family. They are from As Good As Gold Organization, a great non-profit organization that rescues, sets up foster care and adoption for abandoned or unwanted Golden Retrievers. Both Morty and Minnie are with loving families and enjoying the pet store social. Support these organization in your local area, as they provide a loving alternative to unfortunate dogs. Woof Woof!
