Spring is my favorite time taking photos of Sugar. We enjoyed checking out the sculptures at Newport Beach Civic Center & Park especially the bunnies. Just in time for Spring and Easter, neighborhood kids decorated the bunnies … a great photo opp. I took several photos of Sugar and shared it on social media. One of Sugar’s Easter photos on Instagram was featured in Community on Buzzfeed: 15 Pets Who Are Ready For The Easter Bunny.

2014 has been the worst Winter. We are having excessive SNOW and very COLD temps. I have to protect Sugar when she goes out and do her doggy business. Days when it was below zero and negative temps, Sugar had to wear extra head/neck gear. As a dog parent, I could not help but to take a photo of Sugar before we head out and brave the cold temp.
Sugar’s ColdSelfie photo was taken from my iPhone (added filters from Phonto and Instagram). We received many likes/comments on our Instagram and decided to submit to @PeoplePets twitter for #cutepic of the day. Those of you that follow us on FB already know that … Sugar won Twitter’s #cutepic of the day, Monday, 2/10
Sugar also made PeoplePets Cutest Pets of the Week 2/10 – 2/14 as a runner’s up.
Many commented that Sugar deserved to the win the cutest pet of the week … maybe one reason why on 2/17 PeoplePets posted Sugar’s ColdSelfie photo on their FB Page WOW: 736LIKES and 127 shares
This was Sugar’s 2nd PeoplePets #cutepic win. The first one was last August 2013: Sugar won #cutepic of the day 8/28 and Cutest Pet of the Week 8/26-8/30 ,where Sugar’s BarkWorld buddies were featured too.

What A Week Of Golden Woofs
Lots of Golden Good Stuff happening …
First and foremost, A Big Golden Thanks to Sarge. I recently won his Water Mania contest and totally won PAWsome Prizes. There are about 15 items (some are for my mom) and mom says I get to open one prize each day for the next 15 days. I’m super Golden Excited as I see there are toys in the box. Lots of Golden Thanks Sarge.
Next surprise package we received was from PAWZ, the manufacturer of my purple dog boots. Guess what they gave me. They’ve provided me a supply of Purple PAWZ. Need I say more about PAWZ. Golden LOVE It! Lately, getting noticed with my purple boots has been educational. We had many interesting conversations with other dog owners in regards to dog walking on hot pavements and paw pad injuries. It would be interesting on how many dogs in my neighborhood will soon be sporting PAWZ.
I mentioned on Monday’s post that my photo is going to be on a product ad we use and love. It will be in Fido Friendly and Modern Dog magazines. Many of you guessed what product. We received the digital format of Fido Friendly and it will be out soon. Definitely, we will keep you posted. Also last Monday, we were very surprised to know from our blog friend Garth that our photo is on the current issue of Life + Dog magazine. I participated in GoPetFriendly Friday Pet Photo Challenge and all the photos featured Jan/April on their site is on p22 of Life + Dog magazine. Can you guess what photo? My favorite HI beach photo. It was a PAWsome surprise and Lots of Golden Thanks to GoPetFriendly.
