If you are a regular reader/follower of my blog,

you know that I have furry backyard friend, a chipmunk.

I (well my mom) named him FRED, derived from the word friend.

Two years ago, a poem inspired by him was posted here.

Since then, a permanent space on my blog sidebar was created to showcase the poem, My Chipmunk Friend.

I know many of you (my doggie bloggie friends) do not like or get along with your furry backyard friends.

Well, I Do … I like Fred, the chipmunk, my furry backyard friend.

I always have so much Golden Fun chasing him.

There he is … Do you see him?

I just finished chasing him

and he’s saying good-bye to me.

It’s been a year since my mom thought of creating a children’s book about my backyard adventure with Fred, the chipmunk.

Well, in honor of my 10th Barkday year,

my mom decided to pursue it and she’s almost finish.

Here’s a sneak peak of page 1 …

Mom is hoping to get the book published and

printed by next month (just in time for my blogversary).
