Last weekend, I went to the west side of the island, Ka’anapali.
Of course to swim … where the waves are gentle than the North Shore of Maui.
I also had an opportunity to visit a popular spot, Black Rock. C’mon I’ll tell you more about it …
Black Rock (Puu Kekaa) is located at Ka’anapali Beach.
A place that is popular for snorkeling.
The water is calm and good visibility to see wide array of fish.
Also, most of the time you’ll see a green sea turtle (Honu) along the coral reef.
It is called Black Rock because there’s lava formation to the right of the entrance.
It’s awesome to watch the Black Rock Sunset Cliff-Diving Ceremony.
welcoming a lovely night, giving way to the peacefulness of the ocean waves
and clear sky full of stars.
