I am in Hawaii.
ALOHA is a very common word used here for greeting and parting.
Many of you I’ve asked how I got here … by plane.
I mostly slept throughout the flights and had a wonderful first class flights.
The only thing that was disappointing was the airline misplaced my luggage …
but its all good now.
It was delivered the next day and all my food and tasty treats were all intact.
What part of Hawaii am I? There are 8 Hawaiian islands. I am in the island of MAUI,
known as the Valley Isle. Maui is the 2nd largest island in the Hawaiian chain.
The name of the town I live is KULA, Hawaiian word for Golden … how appropriate 🙂
Kula is an upcountry town in Maui.
My new home is surrounded by green plants, fruit trees and flowers.
This is the view when I go for my morning walk.
Lots of Golden Goodness smell here.
Definitely will share all the wonderful information about Maui, my town, plants, flowers and in general about Hawaii.
What I’ve been doing since I got here. I was a bit jet lag so I slept a lot.
Did I go to the beach? Woof! Definitely.
Did I go for a swim? Woof! Woof! the waves a super high for the past days.
To acclimate me with the sand and salt water, my mom took me to a baby beach.
I got super excited I jumped into the ocean immediately.
I did not swim for a long time as I hurt my right front paw.
Ouch! I was super super excited.
I did several zooomies on the sand and twisted my right front paw.
Resting it for a couple days … for sure I’ll be back swimming in the ocean.
I’ve been also busy being the official ALOHA Greeter.
