What a great poem Sugar. Watch out for that spider! Lee and Phod
Great poem, I hate Halloween with a vengeance worst night of the year, as soon as I get Sheba settled somebody else knocks at the door and disturbs her last year it went on for 3 hours, and if you don’t answer the door they vandalise your property over the years we’ve had eggs and flour thrown at the window, windows broken, plants pulled up, car door mirrors pulled off and the aerial broke off, I don’t know how vandalising peoples property can be classed as fun. I might just leave the house for the night and come back when it’s all finished.
Excellent reminder!

I hope you get lots of treats on Halloween Sugar…healthy ones, of course!
I”ts pretty quiet around here for Halloween, which is fine with us. Good reminder for everyone though – thanks for sharing Sugar!
That is such a great poem and such good advice to watch out for our doggies. It can be a very scary time. Happy Halloween to you Sugar and your family.
Fun Acrostic poem-Have a great Sunday! We live in the country so don’t have much action on Halloween. But know it can be a hard time for our friends in town.

Nice one Sugar. Have a serene Sunday.
Best wishes Molly
We don’t ‘do’ Halloween around where I live and it’s not hugely popular in New Zealand anyway but I do enjoy seeing what everyone does in the US. Great poem Sugar. I can imagine some animals wouldn’t enjoy having hoards of strangers knocking on their front door for hours!
You obviously are a famous poet in addition to all your other talents!

Living on a busy road has ONE advantage: No Trick-or-Treaters to buy candy for and then not have them show up (resulting in two adult humans eating more candy in one day than they normally would eat in a year).
Spooky good poem, Sugar! I’m gonna go hide…..
Great poem! We’re making sure the dogs stay far away from chocolate and candy.
Great poem, Sugar, and I love the graphics/photos too!
Great advice on the dog safety. Love the creative way to celebrate B & W Sunday. Sugar, you sure look happy to know Halloween is coming! Are there treats to be found in your plastic pumpkin? 🙂
Woofs on this beautiful Sunday.
Pawsome!

Great poem Sugar! Mommy loves Halloween but she understands that we don’t like it so much and she doesn’t make us dress up! We thinks that is a good thing!

Really creative. The costumes on the little kids scare me.
The doorman makes a list of the apartments where it is okay to ring for Trick or Treat and hands it out. That way people aren’t bothered by the bell if they don’t want to be.
Mom leaves a basket of treats hanging from our apartment door with a note to take two or three, and a “Please don’t ring the bell” sign. i would be barking every time the bell rang. But she still wants the kids to have candy.
where’s your halloween costume Sugar? 😛
Double-High-Paws, Sugar!
Nice poem Sugar!
