Did you know that you can make ice cream without an ice cream machine?
Many of you know that I Golden LOVE Banana, a treat I usually have after my meals.
Due to the mass on my tongue and current surgery, I am on a soft food/treat diet. At first, my mom was just mashing the banana but I was not quite Golden Satisfy. Mom’s creative cooking mind activated, to make me a Creamy Banana Ice Cream. We don’t own an ice cream maker but mom just got a Ninja Professional Machine, known for its powerful blades and horsepower. With the Ninja Blend option and frozen bananas mom made a DELISH PAWmazing Creamy Banana Ice Cream.
Yes, just one ingredient to make a Tasty Cream Banana ice Cream = Frozen Ripe Bananas
Depending on the size of your blender/food processor machine, cut into small prices. Using a parchment paper, freeze the bananas for 2-3 hours (overnight/the longer the better). It took 50 seconds for my mom to create a Creamy Banana Ice Cream. Mom says it’s like a Gelato.
Give it a try. Just don’t panic if you see flaky bananas (it means that your banana were not ripe). You can add a tsp of water. Mom has been experimenting and has made yummy ice cream. Will be sharing them as she masters it. For now, I’m Golden Happy with her Creamy Banana Ice Cream.

We will have to try that and see if Sissy Spaniel likes it. She loves ice cream. I bet it felt good on your tongue.
Happy Healing!
Oh yum! what a fantastic way to recuperate….and make your sore tongue feel good. I, Daisy, have been having some yoghurt–I don’t like bananas–and cold vegie puree.

Hmm, ice cream!!
Gonna try this one! I freeze bananas that get over-ripe and use them in recipes. I always have frozen banana in my freezer. What a great treat!
Feel better Sugar!

I love bananas! That sounds good, but I think we will wait until it is a bit warmer to try it out. Hope you are feeling better but I know that bananas make you smile 🙂
I’ve seen this recipe time and again for peoples, but haven’t had bananas around long enough to make it. Out peoples devour bananas too quickly. It looks amazing, though! I’m imagining it with a dollop of peanut butter mixed in, maybe even some chocolate (for the peoples, of course).
Oh yum yum! We don’t have the blender, but it might be worth looking into.

What a wonderful treat for a banana lover!
Woooo, super Golden yummy, Sugar! I did not think it would be that easy to make creamy banana ice cream. My Ma just mashes banana into yogurt and then freezes it in little cups for me. That is tasty too. I hope you are feeling better and that you are not too COLD up there.

That sounds Ninja yummy pretty girl!
That looks SO tasty, Sugar! Your Mom is a clever lady. I’m going to try this for Petal, she loves bananas too! We have a Magic Bullet and it’s a pain. It leaks, though it’s not suppose to. I’ve seen the Ninja at Costco and might replace our Not-So-Magic Bullet with it. Especially now that I know we can make banana ice cream in it!
Thanks for sharing, Sugar and hosting the hop!
We were on the verge of asking you about your Banana Ice Cream! We are definitely going to try some now! Thank you for sharing 😉

Brilliant! Banana is one of Ty’s favorite foods – we’re going to have to give your ice cream a try.
Oh yum! The only work required for making this recipe is cleaning the food processor. 😉
I’m going to have to try this!
I’ve made that for my kids as a healthy ice cream alternative for several years now…they still love it! I love how simple and nutritious it is.
