Watermelon is everyone’s favorite summer treat. It’s refreshing and helps you hydrate.
Did you know? Watermelon is often considered a fruit, but it is a vegetable and a member of the cucumber family. Watermelon is 91.5 percent water and can help you stay hydrated throughout the day. It is low in calories (has 46 calories per cup). Also, watermelon is an excellent source of Vitamin B6 and can help boost brain power. Several studies show that watermelon juice can contribute to reducing muscle soreness, so it’s great to have after a long walk/run with your dog. In moderation, dogs can have watermelon. To avoid intestinal blockage, do not let your dog chew or eat the watermelon rind.

We are a tea loving family and I love my chamomile every now and then. But will definitely be trying your ginger-banana one out real soon! Thanks again,
