It was awesome to be a dog mom to SUGAR. She brought so much joy to my life for fifteen years, seven months and six days. I miss her so much. SUGAR and I developed a special bond, and I’m forever grateful for all the amazing things she provided me.
5 Reasons: It’s Awesome to be a Dog Mom
1. SUGAR gave me a reason to SMILE every day.Her smile was contagious and brought happiness to my day.
“Anyone can make you SMILE but it takes Someone Special to make You HAPPY.”
2. SUGAR taught me to Embrace Fears by being ADVENTUROUS. SUGAR greeted every day with a sense of bold adventure and brought out the best in me.
3. SUGAR was always at my side when I need her most. “There is no greater comfort than the silent devoted COMPANIONSHIP of my dog.”
4. “Life is a succession of moments, live each one as a Golden Moment” – Sugar the Golden Retriever
LIVE in the MOMENT is a positive way of living your life. A wonderful dog lesson I learned from SUGAR.
5. Unconditional LOVE is one of life’s most beautiful gifts. SUGAR enriched my life in many ways. She loved me unconditionally for so many years. SUGAR was my best friend and my One of a Kind Unconditional Golden LOVE.
If you’re lucky …
a dog will come into your life, steal your heart and change everything …

Rosalyn…this is absolutely a beautiful post in memory of all the years, days, minutes, hours and seconds you shared with Sugar. For sure she had a contagious smile.

I agree that being a dog mom is one of life’s greatest joys. I hope that you are doing well, Rosalyn ♥
So beautifully said. They bring so much into our lives and only want us to love and care for them. I try to do the best for Sutter every day.
#3 is Linus to a “T”. He’s always there by our side when we need him most. Out of all our dogs he’s the one that’s most in tune with our emotions. Last week when Ali and Emma got in a car accident Linus knew and stayed by our side when we got home.
Sugar truly was an amazing girl!!! We hope another special pup finds their way into your heart when the time is right.

This is beautiful, sending lots of pug hugs

You captured all that is genuine love and DOG in such a vulnerable yet compassionate way. So glad I got to meet the always smiling Sugar. Arden
Every moment with our precious dog companions is special. I just wish they lived as long as we do.
Being a dog mom has been one of the best parts of my life. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I miss my furry angels, too. Sending hugs and well wishes. One day when you’re ready, Sugar will send you another pup who needs your special love.
What a beautiful blog post about your precious Sugar, Rosalyn! Being Pixel’s Mom has been the most joyful thing in the world to me. I literally wake up each morning and thank God she is there with me, that I get to share life with her. Pixel is truly my heart dog, my soul mate with fur. She and I share and incredible bond that far surpasses logic. She knows my every mood, good and bad, and will come to me instantly when something is wrong. I go to sleep each night with her laying on my chest.
I pray that your heart continues to heal and that Sugar visits you regularly in your dreams. You are such a sweet, loving person, you deserve to give that love and receive it back in return….when the time is right. Sending much love and a huge hug!
